Our Favorite Seattle Trails
As we get closer to summer, it’s a great time to get outdoors, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest! When we’re looking for a new trail, we love turning to Seattle Met’s list of the Emerald City’s Best Trails. Below are a few of our favorites:
Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop
Starting at Gas Works Park, this six-mile loop offers a mostly paved path around Lake Union, passing by some of the best Seattle attractions, including MOHAI, Gas Works, and the statues of Fremont.
Burke-Gilman Trail
Stretching a span of nearly 30 miles from Seattle’s Golden Gardens Park to the Eastside, the Burke-Gilman has been a longtime favorite for bikers, joggers and walkers to get outside. Hopping on at Golden Gardens can provide a great respite from the city life.
Discovery Park
Situated across 534 acres, Discovery Park is the largest park in Seattle, and offers a range of trails and shoreline ready for exploration.
