Sam Cunningham, Citrone partner
There’s no doubt Sam Cunningham’s considerable conversational charms (in four languages yet!) are the stuff of business legend.
Still, numbers count when it comes to illustrating just how effective Sam is when it comes to real estate representation on behalf of his clients. Over the past decade, he’s been involved in more than 3,000 residential transactions for new construction condominiums, conversions, townhomes, single-family residences, and resort properties.
In addition, Sam has successfully recruited and trained more than 60 site agents who represent sales activity at multi-family developments. He’s also been instrumental in developing international sales relationships. His leadership accomplishments have been recognized by the National Association of Homebuilders.
Sam is an avid traveler who speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. He lives in downtown Seattle with his wife, real estate broker Laura Cunningham, and his young children. When he’s not taking care of business, it’s all about spear fishing and downhill skiing. Sam holds a degree from Saint Mary’s College of The University of Lima, Peru.

Citrone partner Julie Biniasz on what makes Sam great:
“Sam is one of those people you can’t help but like the moment you meet him. He’s energetic and worldly—but never in an arrogant way. He can also carry a conversation with just about anybody. Of course, that doesn’t mean he’s a pushover. Nothing stands in Sam’s way. If there’s a problem, he finds a creative way to work around it.”
Citrone partner Sandy Justen on what makes Sam great:
“Sam is an idea man, a problem-solving man, a man who could have a great conversation with a rock if that’s what it takes to reach a stated goal. He’s also extremely skilled and comfortable with conflict resolution. Sam brings an incredible amount of business expertise to our team—something we’re grateful for on a daily basis.”
